Banquet and Awards

The banquet will immediately follow initiation and the group photo. The cost of the banquet is included in each electee's dues, so no additional payment is required. Guests are welcome, however, the extra seats are $25 per additional person. You must RSVP. Payment for guests must be turned in prior to the event.

Awards

Four honors will be awarded at banquet. Florida Alpha may choose not to award any of them if there is not a worthy candidate.

  • Best Electee - Chosen by the VP of Electees; winner must have completed the requirements for distinguished electee, not required to attend banquet.
  • Best Bent - Voted on by the officers present at banquet, Best Electee is not excluded from consideration, winner must attend banquet.
  • Best Member - Voted on by the officers, winner not required to attend banquet, officers not eligible.
  • Best Officer - Voted on by the officers, winner not required to attend banquet, President not eligible.
